Your Ultimate Guide to Cosmetic Treatments: Common Questions Answered. There’s FAQ’s

  • What makes your clinic unique?

Prima Face Aesthetics is run by two trained surgeons with over 20 years’ combined experience working in clinical practice. The clinic offers non-invasive and non-surgical treatments to help our clients achieve their aesthetic goals. We specialise in treatments like dermal fillers, Profhilo® and anti-wrinkle injections that provide natural-looking improvements to the skin that help you achieve a radiant, youthful appearance.

  • What are the most popular treatments you offer?

Our most popular treatments include dermal fillers, Profhilo®, Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and anti-wrinkle injections. These treatments provide a natural-looking improvement to the skin and can help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and other signs of aging.

  • How are injectable treatments like dermal fillers and Profhilo® delivered?

Injectable treatments are delivered using a fine needle or cannula, depending on the treatment area and desired results. Our trained practitioners use a variety of injection techniques to ensure that the treatment is delivered precisely and comfortably.

  • How long do the results of injectable treatments last?

The duration of results for injectable treatments varies depending on the treatment and the individual. Generally, the results of dermal fillers can last from 6 to 18 months, while the effects of Profhilo® can last up to 6 to 9 months. Anti-wrinkle injections last 3-4 months. Our practitioners will discuss the expected duration of results during your consultation.

  • What is the recovery time for treatments like anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers?

Recovery time varies based on the treatment. Botox and Profhilo® require no downtime, while dermal fillers and PRP may cause mild swelling or bruising for a few days. Avoiding strenuous exercise, alcohol, and sun exposure for a few days can help with recovery. Our practitioners will provide aftercare instructions specific to your treatment during your consultation.

  • What are the risks associated with non-invasive and non-surgical treatments?

While non-invasive and non-surgical treatments are generally safe, they still carry some risks. Our practitioners take every precaution to minimize the risk of complications, and we provide our clients with detailed information on the risks and benefits of each treatment during their consultation.

  • How do you ensure that the treatments are safe and effective?

We only use products and equipment from reputable manufacturers, and our practitioners are highly trained and experienced in administering the treatments. We also provide our clients with aftercare instructions to help them achieve the best possible results.

  • How long does a typical treatment take?

The length of a typical treatment varies depending on the treatment and the individual. Generally, most treatments can be completed within an hour, and many clients are able to return to their daily activities immediately following the treatment.

  • How should I prepare for my treatment?

To get the best results stay hydrated, avoid alcohol and caffeine, wear comfortable clothing, and try to arrive with clean, makeup-free skin. If you are taking blood thinners it is important you let the clinic know at the time of booking. Contact us if you have any further questions or concerns regarding current medications or existing conditions.

  • What should I expect during my consultation?
